Becoming a Marine is not an easy feat and requires rigorous preparation. To join the Corps, you must score at least 31 on the ASVAB test, but it's always better to aim for higher scores. You should also prepare for the Physical Fitness Test (PFT) by training hard to achieve a perfect score of 20 pull-ups, 100 sit-ups, and three miles in 18 minutes. Additionally, you should prepare for culture shock, as boot camp is a significant adjustment. Research the Marine Corps and talk to other Marines to get a better understanding of what it takes to be a part of this strong brotherhood. Finally, you must meet certain height and weight requirements, which can be checked on the USMC weight charts.
