A Twitter user shared it, writing, "A video of a Ukrainian soldier after the shelling appeared on social networks. 'Mom, Dad, I love you'." It started off a conversation on Twitter on the human cost of war. "Man, I really have zero faith in humanity.

This is so heartbreaking," a user tweeted. "War is just a game between politicians, and it is the ordinary people who are in trouble in the end," said another.

"It's heartbreaking to see young men go to war like this, knowing they are putting their life at risk to defend what they believe in … where as politicians just provoke and ridicule," wrote a Twitter user.
